Has the start of a new year got you thinking about a return to the teaching profession? Teaching is a rewarding career which allows you to make a difference every day. Each year people who worked in the profession are transitioning back and picking up where they left off.

After November's webinar on routes into teaching, Teach Portsmouth return with changing career to teaching, an online event aimed at those working in industry and considering a switch to the profession. The webinar will take place on Wednesday 27 January from 4pm - 5pm.

With senior leaders now nominating their colleagues as part of the Teach Portsmouth Awards, we're pleased to introduce an all-new category: the people's choice award. For the first time, local residents will be able to nominate a Portsmouth-based teacher, support team or leader who have gone above and beyond during the pandemic.
