Event features

Attend an information session
Each event includes information sessions that help you make sense of the education landscape in Portsmouth.
Sessions include presentations from local partners including training providers and employment specialists.
Teaching assistants, head teachers and other professionals will often share their experiences with the opportunity to ask questions afterwards.

Sign up to taster sessions
Taster sessions are a great way to build confidence and visit a specific employer.
These sessions are between 1 hour and 1.5 hours and will often include a tour of the school, a chance to meet staff and learn about vacancies. If there is a specific school you would like to work for, we would recommend signing up to a taster session.
There will be no direct work with pupils during these sessions.

Discover the jobs board
The jobs board is the best place to find exhibitor vacancies, training and apprenticeships options in one place.
Most adverts include a QR code to find out more information about the opportunity. You will also find information about taster sessions on the board.
We would recommend taking a photo of the application to view the opportunity later once the event has ended.

Meet exhibitors
Schools, colleges, training providers and employment specialists will be on hand to support you into work.
Whether you need help to gain a C/4 in maths and English or to find your perfect job in education, exhibitors will happily talk to you about their opportunities.
Exhibitors may also be promoting taster sessions which you can sign up to which will often take place within a few weeks of an event.
Become a sponsor
Thanks to the generous support of local organisations like yours, our events continue to reach audiences across Portsmouth and beyond.
This year, we’re offering a developing range of opportunities, each designed to help you showcase your brand while supporting education-focused events in the city.
As a thank you, sponsors will receive a range of promotional benefits, giving you the chance to highlight your products and services to engaged local and regional audiences.
