Thank you to Portsmouth's teachers, support teams and leaders

Thank-you--news-hub

The Teach Portsmouth Awards Live on Thursday 8 July was a fantastic celebration of the outstanding achievements of teachers, support teams and leaders in the city over the past 18 months.

The 9 award categories highlighted how much those working in education in Portsmouth have done to support the city's children, young people and their families throughout the pandemic.

Whilst a winner was chosen in each category, the awards were also a celebration of not just the nominees, but every single member of Portsmouth's education community. We know you have all gone above and beyond, showing resilience and flexibility to keep children learning and supported in challenging times.

We're pleased to share some special messages of thanks that were part of the Teach Portsmouth Awards Live ceremony. The messages are a big well done to all those working in education in Portsmouth, for their contributions throughout the pandemic and their commitment to making a difference to the lives of young people in the city.

A huge congratulations to everyone. You should be proud of what you have achieved!
